The Zelda man himself, Eiji Aonuma, wants you to know that just because Zelda was crying in the dramatic trailer for Breath of the Wild, doesn’t make her weak. He asks fans to “not read too much into just that one scene from the trailer, and to please play the game and appreciate Zelda as she is in all her aspects.” In this interview with Eurogamer , Aonuma also talks about having a female protagonist, and making sure the game came out in time for the Switch launch.
Nintendo held a live presentation in Japan about a week ago; unveiling important details on their upcoming console, the Nintendo Switch. Opinions on the presentation itself have been somewhat negative despite the console looking to be an amazing system that you can take on the go. Most of the cons have been related to the launch games, pricing, unexciting translators, and motion-gaming being a big part of the presentation. I wanted to rewind back to last week and talk about the positives of the live show.
Gamers, I’ve believed in something untrue for many years. One of my all-time favorite Nintendo Gamecube games was Kirby Air Ride. Between the popularity of the Kirby series and my personal love for the game, I naturally assumed this was one of the best-selling games for the system.
