Check out the amazing Nintendo fashion collaboration between, Nintendo fans and Japanese clothing brand UNIQLO. UNIQLO turned to fans to create a limited edition T-shirt line with features from a ton of Nintendo franchises including Mario, Splatoon, Kirby, Pokémon, Zelda and more. The winners were chosen by Nintendo’s very own Shigeru Miyamoto (creator of Mario). After receiving more than 16,000 designs, check out the three winners and 22 runner-ups who will have their designed featured in a UNIQLO store and online.
First, the GRAND PRIZE WINNER! This amazing Mario design won its creator Takashi Kawazoe a $10,000 prize and an autographed Nintendo Switch.
Runners up include this amazing Splatoon design by Shino Yamazaki from Japan and this abstract Zelda design by David Ricardo Flores Gomez from Mexico.
With so many designs from all over the world, these shirts are universally unique, diverse and stylish. It’s amazing how much talent and style there is to choose. These designs will be available in stores on 5/19 and will have an early access run online on 5/18 at 9pm.
