Battlefield 4 has dropped their latest map packs yesterday called ‘Dragons Teeth.’ ‘Dragons Teeth’ maps are in a new location of the the eastern part of the world, more specifically in North Korea. North Korea has always been a country in mystery, fascinating propaganda and structure. Now you and your friends get to kill each other in it for fun! You will be able to fight in the streets of the famous Propaganda City,’ and 3 other historical North Korea landmarks. Along with 4 new maps, you also get 5 new weapons!
You get 2 new pistols, the Desert Eagle and the Unica 6 Magnum, the SIG MPX sub-machine gun, the SRSS Bulldog 762 Assault Rifle and the very awesome McMillan CS5 Sniper Rifle. Along with new assignments and ribbons, you also get a riot shield! That’s right, they went all COD on it and now you get to use a riot shield! This is by far the best and most fun DLC so far for Battlefield 4. One thing that makes this so interesting and entertaining (besides being in North Korea) is that you could tell the designers wanted to concentrate more on urban warfare and environments, rather than big open land tundra and forest. Not only does it make for a more challenging experience, it makes it for a more intense and brutal multiplayer. Which in fact is probably why it is called ‘Dragons Teeth.’
In World War 2, the term “Dragons Teeth” were referred to as these big, white concrete pyramids that were used to halt enemy tanks and soldiers (much like the beach obstacles used by the Germans on Normandy Beach.) They came near the end of World War 2 and were more commonly used in the Korean War to stop North Korean and Chinese Forces. They proved to be very difficult because enemy forces would use these “Dragons Teeth” as cover and some intense fighting would happen. So this DLC map pack has a cool little back story to go with it and why it is set in North Korea. Right now, this DLC is only offered to premium players, but will be offered to the public soon. It is fun and intense. EA really out did themselves with this, making Battlefield 4 feel like a whole new game!
