Brawlout was released digitally on the Switch just before Christmas last year and it’s no surprise that the comparisons came in thick and fast to the popular Smash Bros series, it’s now been announced the game will be getting a physical release.
The publishers behind Brawlout, Angry Mob Games, have struck a partnership with private video games publishers Merge Games Ltd and will release a physical edition of the game in May 2018. This is great news for people who haven’t had the chance to play the game yet, or just for people who would rather have physical copies.
Merge Games’ Managing Director, Luke Keighran, went on to say this about the partnership:
“We are delighted to have teamed-up with Angry Mob Games. Brawlout is an awesome title and partnering with Angry Mob Games has been a great experience. We believe Brawlout on the Switch will be warmly welcomed by retailers and fans alike.”
You can play online or couch co-op so it’s very much designed for a multiplayer experience, if you haven’t seen much footage from the game you can watch some game play below and see what you think.
