The semi anticipated annual announcement of a call of duty game has been expected to emerge soon, and March 8th we got our confirmation. Black ops 4 is coming this fall.
Call Of Duty: Blacks Ops 4
Today Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 was announced, with a rather early release date and a small teaser showing all footage from older games in the franchise. Many predicted Black Ops 4 to be the next title. And with that, many wonder if we will see more boots on the ground feel like we got with COD WWII, or if it will stick with the more futuristic setting of Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare.
With a reveal event set for May 17th of this year, we will definitely see more soon. And with a release date of October 12th, we will play it sooner than most COD’s that came before. Some are speculating that Activision is trying to beat out, games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Battlefield (2), and other potential blockbusters that will hit this fall. Maybe this is true, and maybe it will work. But let’s be honest, any game coming out around the extremely hyped and anticipated Red Dead 2 will have a tough time.
Whether Black Ops 4 takes the fight to space, the past, or even the present, you can count on several things, shooting some baddies, exploding some big stuff, and saving the world. You know, typical Call of Duty stuff.
For now here is the teaser. See any easter eggs or clues for the upcoming game? Let us know! We’ll see you May 17th for the reveal! And stay tuned for more Call of Duty news!
