At Microsoft’s E3 presentation, a new trailer for Cuphead with the release date was shown after that game suffered multiple delays.
The game will be released on September 29th, 2017 for $19.99 according to the listing on the Microsoft Store. The game’s download size is approximately between 1.12 MB – 108.14 MB from the game’s information on the store site as well. Also, Cuphead is an Xbox Play Anywhere title for Xbox One and Windows 10 which will allow crossplay between Xbox and PC users.
Cuphead was first announced at E3 2014 and many have been anticipating the game since then. The game is a “run and gun platform indie video game” that is drawn in the style of 1930s cartoons. The player lost a bet with the Devil which resulted in them doing the Devil’s bidding to be spared. The player will have to battle various bosses over the course of the game.
I didn’t hear about the game at first but after hearing about the game from Marissa and checking out the previous trailer, Cuphead is now on my list of games to play. The game reminds me of the games I grew up with (mostly platformers) so I’m interested and there is a good chance that I’ll purchase it now that it’s on my radar.
