EA has a number of potential titles that would continue to make this E3 the best we have ever seen. EA could potentially reveal/demo a handful of highly anticipated video games. EA and DICE have already confirmed we will be seeing Star Wars Battlefront in the form of some actual gameplay footage. However, we don’t know whether we will be seeing an actual gameplay demo or another trailer. Either way, the EA conference has a lot of slots to fill and a lot of games to fill those slots with. Following both Bethesda and Microsoft, EA will have to do something big to attempt to remain in the spotlight.
EA’s conference at this year’s E3 will likely have a number of highly anticipated titles either demoed, or simply teased. For starters, we’re well aware BioWare has been working on Mass Effect 4, but there hasn’t been any gameplay shown or anything. EA hasn’t confirmed anything other than Battlefront for their presentation, but we already presume we will see games like Mirror’s Edge 2, this year’s Need For Speed and an assortment of sports titles, but what else will we be seeing? What will EA choose to do at this year’s E3 conference?
I believe EA will come out strong and only get stronger as the conference goes on. EA will open with a Star Wars Battlefront gameplay demo. The demo will feature a number of the newest and returning features of the game including the latest Fighter Squadron mode. The demo will end with a new trailer of the game, along with a release date for later this year. EA will then surprise the crowd with a teaser trailer for the Star Wars project Visceral games has been working on. In the interest of time, EA will showcase a compiled trailer of all of the EA Sports titles coming later this year. EA will then move onto this year’s Need For Speed title with a gameplay demonstration confirming a release date for later this year. EA will then continue with a gameplay demo for Mirror’s Edge 2 and a release date for early 2016, but that’s certainly not all.
What will make EA’s conference stand out among the others? EA will announce two games at their presentation for release sometime down the line. The first reveal will come in the form of a small teaser, that game being Titanfall 2. The teaser will focus on new titans, weapons and a single player mode to cap it all off. If that wasn’t enough, EA will reveal a cinematic teaser for the latest entry in the Battlefield series, Battlefield: Bad Company 3. Somewhere in between all of these reveals, EA will also get into the trend of remastering games with a Crysis Collection for Xbox One and PS4 coming sometime holiday this year. To close out the show, EA will have BioWare take the stage to show off a bit of Mass Effect 4 and confirm a release date of the game for holiday 2016. Yeah, at this point of the show, everyone will be tweeting about E3 2015 being the greatest in recent memory and there would still be five presentations remaining…
Whether any of these predictions come true, we know for sure EA will be showing off some Star Wars Battlefront gameplay and that’s a big deal. We can also assume Mirror’s Edge 2 and the newest Criterion racer will be taking the stage; a couple of anticipated titles. EA has had a bad reputation in the industry and they will be aiming to fix that with their lineup of games to come. I have only written predictions for two presentations so far and already the amount of potential reveals has me giddy with anticipation. EA’s conference will be taking place on June 15th – 1pm PT / 4pm ET.
