Odds are there was at least one game that you saw at E3 this year that you have to play. One that has you so excited that you must not only own it, but you want people to know your love for it by displaying it on your desk or in your game room. Well luckily there are several anticipated games getting some amazing collector’s edition releases that will take your game room display to the next level. Here is a list of some of the best collector’s editions announced at E3.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
Many people were shocked at just how good Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle actually looked. Its safe to say that it went from being the laughing stock of E3 to one of the more anticipated games of this year. Well if you weren’t already sold on picking it up maybe this awesome collector’s edition might change your mind. It comes in a gorgeous Mario and Rabbids themed box along with twelve trading cards and the games soundtrack, but the real seller here is the adorable Mario Rabbid statue. Standing at just 6 inches tall and holding one of the blasters from the game, this is easily one of the cutest collector’s edition statues we have seen in a while. You can only pick up this exclusive collector’s edition at GameStop and it will set you back $99.99, but knowing Nintendo collectibles they rarely ever lose value. So you might wanna snag this one up quick.
Assassins Creed: Origins
I myself have never been a big fan of the Assassins Creed series, but even I am having a hard time resisting that awesome ancient Egyptian setting. And what better way to celebrate this new direction for the series than with The Dawn Of Creed Edition. It comes in a stunning simplistic box adorned with the AC Origins logo. Inside you’ll find all sorts of goodies including 4 lithographs, a world map, an art book, an eagle skull amulet, an exclusive steel book case, the games official soundtrack, and to top it all off a beautifully detailed statue of Bayek and his companion bird Senu in an awesome action pose. This statue is the real deal and it will be limited to only 200 units. So needless to say this one packs a hefty price tag setting you back $799.99. It will also include the game and all of the DLC (as it should for that price), but if you ever wanted to show off your Assassins Creed fandom this looks like a good way to do so. This one will be sold exclusively on the UPlay store so go put in your pre-order now.
Far Cry 5
Even before E3 began Far Cry 5 was on a lot of gamer’s most anticipated list. And thanks to Ubisoft your excitement can even be mounted on your wall? You read that right. The Far Cry 5 Hope County, Mt Edition comes with a 17 inch mounted deer skull. It comes on an American flag plague and looks to be adorned with the cult logo from the game. Along with the deer skull trophy you’ll also receive the game with all the DLC, an artbook, and the soundtrack all in a Hope County themed box. But be prepared to find a good place to hang that deer skull because you’ll want to display it proudly after spending the $180.00 this collector’s edition will set you back.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
The sequel to the severely underrated Wolfenstein: The New Order, garnished a lot of buzz after its absolutely epic reveal trailer at Bethesda’s Conference. For many people this will be the most anticipated game of the year. Knowing Bethesda and their past full of amazing collector’s editions, they pulled all the stops to make sure Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus was no exception to the rules. For starters you’ll receive the game disc in an exclusive steel book packaging along with a mini poster and a handbook. But the jaw dropping B.J. Blazowics action figure in the classic G.I. Joe themed packaging is the real draw to this awesome limited edition. The figure is twelve inches tall and comes with a plethora of nazi killing accessories. the best part is it is not extremely over priced, only setting you back $99.99. If you aren’t sold on it yet, Bethesda even made this awesome trailer to change your mind.
