Ubisoft aimed to impress during their E3 conference earlier this week. Along with a number of game reveals, Ubisoft announced the fan favorite Terrorist Hunt mode will be making its way into Rainbow Six: Siege, but that wasn’t all. Rainbow Six: Siege will be bringing back another classic mode, as well as two other Tom Clancy games included with the Xbox One version.
Ubisoft made it clear their franchise shooter wouldn’t be skipping out on the content. That’s why they announced during their conference that Rainbow Six: Siege would be coming with Terrohunt, the beloved Terrorist Hunt mode from the previous Rainbow Six games. There will be four Terrohunt modes available across a number of maps. One mode finds you and four of your friends infiltrating a building to defuse bombs. It’s chaotic, yet strategic in the ways you decide to enter and maintain your surroundings. The demo showcased has me very excited for the return of Rainbow Six and this classic mode.
On top of the reveal that Terrorist Hunt will be returning, Ubisoft Montreal announced the “realistic” mode will also be making a comeback. In realistic, enemies can kill with nearly one shot. It’s the most intense difficulty level available in Rainbow Six. It doesn’t end there, though. The Rainbow Six Siege beta will be coming to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on September 24th. The beta will include a PvP mode along with the Terrohunt mission that debuted during the conference. The base game launches October 13 and it includes Rainbow Six Vegas, and Vegas 2 on Xbox One.
