Continuing what appears to be a common theme at this year’s E3 with Samurai themed titles, Nioh 2 was revealed during Sony’s E3 Press Conference.
The trailer itself is a teaser coming in at just about a minute. Confirming that Team Ninja is involved with the project, the trailer does not show off any gameplay nor was a release date announced. Additionally, all we can gather based on its appearance via Sony’s show is it’ll be released on the PlayStation 4 as no other information has been announced.
The original Nioh released February of 2017 to great reviews from critics and fans. Currently sitting at an 88 Metascore and 8.5 user score, Nioh was praised for its difficulty and addicting gameplay similar to the Souls series. Fans enjoyed how Team Ninja was able to create an experience that stands on its own.
