This morning, Bethesda released the teaser trailer for the newest installment in the Fallout series with Fallout 76. The title, which we will find out more about at E3, is rumored to be the first “online survival RPG” for the series known for its single-player roleplaying playstyle.
Check out everything we have on Fallout 76 below before E3.
Fallout 76 is said to be an “online survival RPG that’s heavily inspired by games like DayZ and Rust, according to three people familiar with the project.”
Apparentlty those three have confirmed to Kotaku that Fallout 76 will be an “experimental new entry” and it will be “completely new and completely different.”
The game was said to have originally been prototyped as a multiplayer version of Fallout 4, with the hope of becoming what it is, an online Fallout game for the future. The game will have the same formula as other Fallout entries with quests and storylines etc. The game is said to include the base building implemented in Fallout 4 and the title is based on Vault 76, mentioned in both Fallout 3 and Fallout 4.
We will just have to wait and see what more information we get about Fallout 76 during E3. What are your thoughts on this quick teaser?
