It’s been three years since the release of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and to celebrate, there’s a new event and new items available for players to enjoy!
The event known as The Rising started today and goes on until September 12th. Adventurers will find a peculiar show happening in Ul’dah and find a theater group, known as the Crystal Caravan, needs some assistance. The rewards are new items for fanfaire and two new minions, Wind-Up Krile and Wind-Up Y’shtola in her new outfit.
The quest is short and sweet as well as repeatable. There also seems to be a possible hint of something coming soon. Players may also recognize the outfit worn in the banner as the recent event, Moonfaire gear; the Legacy armor. The gear isn’t required for the event, but you will see it used.
For players who don’t mind spending a little more on the game they love, there are brand new outfits available for purchase at the Mog Station for Final Fantasy XIV. Thancred’s new attire from Heavensward for male characters, and Y’shtola’s new robes for female characters. They both come with all the individual pieces included as well as both characters new hair styles if you want to look just like one of your favorite Scions. Please note that these outfits are NOT dyeable.
There are also two more minions on Mog Station as well, Lady Iceheart and Yugiri can now accompany you wherever you go in chibi form!
(I am totally buying that Thancred outfit.)
Both full outfits will cost $15.00 and the minions both cost $5.00 on the Mog Station.
This event comes right after a recent patch that made it much easier to work on your item level 210 relic weapon in the game, so this event is a fun way to celebrate the anniversary, get a few new items, and get back to grinding for your new weapons.
