Ready to feel old? Futurama hasn’t aired a new episode in 4 years. It certainly doesn’t feel like it though with re-runs and a certain infamous meme many gamers use to express their want to purchase something. You know what I’m talking about. But you can get your galactic fix with Futurama Worlds Of Tomorrow.
The teaser for the game was released on the 16th (of May), playing on the world’s fascination with mind-numbing mobile games. Which, I mean, if you’ve ever downloaded Flappy Bird or any game like it after it got pulled from the mobile market, you know the joke isn’t entirely wrong.
However, with game maker Jam City behind the project, this isn’t going to be just some “fly as far as you can without crashing” title. Not sure if you’ve heard of Jam City? You may be more familiar with their Family Guy and Marvel titles: Family Guy The Quest For Stuff and Avengers Academy. The game is also being written by the team behind the Futurama show, so, I mean, it’s gunna feel like Futurama. Just saying.
Futurama Worlds Of Tomorrow doesn’t have a release date at this time. And you may be inclined to think the article ends there. Nope!
Pre-registration for the game is available right here.
According to the trailer this morning, the game will be playable on both Apple and Andriod devices, and you can also pre-register for the game on Google Play. Not only will you be notified that the game is available and ready for download, but you will also receive an in-game gift for jumping the gun.
Will you be picking up the Futurama Worlds Of Tomorrow when is hits virtual shelves?
