Next week on May 13th, Rockstar Games will unleash a new digital update for Grand Theft Auto V’s GTA Online multiplayer mode entitled “The High Life” which will feature new vehicles, new apartments to purchase, new jobs, updated in-game statistics, one new weapon and much more.
So what exactly does this new update include? Well, beginning with the addition of multi-property ownership, players can now own two separate properties simultaneously, including newly “High Life” added real estate locations like Eclipse Towers, Richards Majestic and others, all of which feature all-new interior designs. Owning two high-scale apartments also means taking advantage of two separate garages now at your disposal to store all your tricked-out “whips” in, including four new vehicles to purchase that come included with the update: The Enus Huntley S (SUV), Dewbauchee Massacro (Sports), Pegassi Zentorno (Super) and Dinka Thrust (Motorcycle). All newly-added vehicles may also be accessed via Story mode once acquired. The update also adds a “No Contact” option to the multiplayer’s “race” mode, which allows limited collisions between players, making them semi-transparent upon contact. You will still be able to hit non-player controlled traffic, building structures and miscellaneous scenery, however.
Also included is the new Bullup Rifle, which is said to pack one helluva punch from afar and a new “Mental State” player statistic to help predict player behavior by displaying how “passive or psychotically unhinged” other players on the map may be. The GTA Online “High Life’ update will last, but no least, contain 15 new jobs (including 5 new “Contact Missions”), new wardrobe selections, player celebrations/taunts/toasts & all-new vehicle horns.
