New Weapons, Maps, and File Browser feature highlighted in new Halo 5 Free DLC Update
Senior systems designer Dan Wiksten shed more light on the new Assault Cannon coming with Anvils Legacy.
Assault Cannon: Wicked Grasp
“Need to protect a base against infantry? The Wicked Grasp should make it easy to hold on and defend. It fires a burst of homing plasma shots that will drop a Spartan really quick. The projectiles have a slower velocity than most UNSC weapons, so effective range is diminished and the weapon is best used at short to mid-range.”
Assault Cannon: Berserker’s Claw
343 Industries really set themselves apart from other developers, releasing a whole years worth of DLC for free, via monthly updates. With a business model structuring almost all games to have a Season Pass nowadays, its not surprising that Halo 5 has consistently kept its multiplayer fan base throughout the entire year.
