Sonic Forces is due to launch this year for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC and there’s just been a new reveal in the form of colourful villain; Infinite.
It looks like Sonic may have met his match, Infinite seems to be faster and stronger so it’s going to be interesting to see how he may overcome this foe. I mean everyone has a weakness so it’s only a matter of time before it’s known!
Sonic Forces hasn’t really appealed to me but the design of Infinite I’m quite enjoying, the flowy hair at the back has me sold. It’s set to mix up the formula by adding 3D and 2D stages, it’s no surprise that the majority of Sonic fans seem to sway more toward the 2D stages so perhaps this could be a return to form for the blue hero?
Over the years Sonic’s 3D outtings have received a very lack lustre reception, you’ll also be able to customise your own character for the first time in the series history and play as them yourself. As well as the new Infinite trailer Sega also treated our ears to Infinite’s theme song.
It’s performed by Tyler Smyth and Andy Bane from DangerKids fame, it’s got a very synthy feel to it from the start and then quickly reverts to a more rocky undertone.
