The July Feh Channel was streamed in English for the first time and there are several new updates coming to Fire Emblem Heroes starting in August!
Up first, there will be a new Bound Hero Battle coming to Fire Emblem Heroes on August 7th. Summoners will face against Lilina and Cecilia and there was a preview of the map as well.
From what was seen, Lilina and Cecilia are located at the top of the map with 3 other units around the map (2 lance units and a bow unit). The lance flier is equipped with a Swift Sparrow 2 skill while the lance cavalier is equipped with the Pass 3 skill. The bow unit has Swordbreaker 3.
The next Grand Hero battle has been announced and it will be against Valter who is a lance flier and equipped with Curse Lance. We were also shown the map for Valter’s Grand Hero battle as well. Summoners will be able to challenge Valter in late August according to Feh.
The next Tempest Trials will continue from the theme of the previous Tempest Trials with the trial being centered around Celica and named Tempest Trials: Reunited at Last. Clive will be the unit rewarded to summoners after a certain amount of points has been reached. Tempest Trials: Reunited at Last will begin on August 11th.
For this Tempest Trial, new features will be implemented. A Continuous Auto battle feature has been added which will have auto battle continue across the multiple maps. Auto-Battle will continue until all the maps are cleared or if all members of the team are defeated. There is also a Team Management feature as well where summoners are able to create up to 10 reserve teams. There are also new stages with enemies starting around level 10 so the weaker units can partake in the trial. For the first 2 rounds of the day, summoners will earn 3x the points. Lastly, a stat bonus has been added to the bonus units for the Tempest Trials. The bonus units will receive an added 10 points to their HP and 4 points will be added to their other stats and they will earn double EXP and SP.
We also got an update on what will be coming to version 1.6. For starters, there will be a new Arena mode where after a map has been cleared, the player will go straight into the next one. This mode will be called Arena Assault where players will compete for the highest score and players will only be able to use a new team for each map. There will also be special items featured in Arena Assault in order to help the summoners but summoners will only be able to take 3 items with them for this new mode. Also, this mode will not use stamina or dueling swords. Rewards will also be given out after each season based on the rank. There is a new reward being given out and it is called Sacred Coins but not much is known on how it will be implemented in the game. Arena Assault will be open to summoners on August 8th.
Also coming to version 1.6, summoners will be able to access a Catalog of Heroes where a log of the heroes encountered will be kept. The heroes that summoners have encountered will have a silhouette while heroes summoners have not encountered yet will have a question mark in the box. For the obtained Heroes, summoners will be able to view their profile and view the summoning sequence. Also, their attack sequence can be viewed and summoners can listen to their voice lines as well. There are also other changes in version 1.6. The max hero merit limit is raised from 2000 to 3000. There will be improvements to the training tower, and there will be boosts to the EXP and SP earned in the Arena.
Following the Ylissean Summer units, the new summoning banner is called Nohrian Summer and will feature Xander, Leo, female Corrin, and Elise in swim suits. Xander is an axe infantry, Leo is a red tome infantry, Elise is a green tome infantry, and female Corrin is a blue tome flier. The Nohrian Summer summoning banner will start on July 28.
The next Voting Gauntlet will be between the Ylissean Summer units and the Nohrian Summer units and it will begin on August 1st.
