Everyone’s favorite Blue Bomber will be making his way to Nintendo Switch on May 22. After a long wait, the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 are finally coming to the Switch. There will be a physical and digital release for the game. Unfortunately, the cartridge will only contain Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 while a download code will be included for Mega Man Legacy Collection 2.
For the Switch version, new features have been added. For the first Collection, a new rewind feature has been added which allow the player to instantly retry any difficulty sections. For the 2nd Legacy Collection, the game will have smoother graphics and the music will be in 16-bit and 32-bit! Also, extra modes have been added. Here are a few of them:
- Challenge Mode: Tackle challenging stage remixes and compete in online leaderboards
- Sound Mode: Kick back to awesome Mega Man tunes any time and place
- Museum Mode: A plethora of rare and insightful development archives
Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 will be available on the Nintendo eshop for $14.99 while Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will be available for $19.99. If you prefer to purchase a physical copy, the physical will retail for $39.99 and it will come with a Mega Man 30th anniversary cleaning cloth.
