Mega Man X Legacy Collection Volumes 1 and 2 were officially announced for release on July 24th 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. Not long to wait until Mega Man fans across the globe can get their fix. However Capcom have also revealed a few more details in regards to what’s featured in the package.
Capcom revealed that Mega Man X3 on the Volume 1 Collection will be the original Super Nintendo version of the game, both volumes will also be developed in house at Capcom rather than the previous Legacy Collection developers; Digital Eclipse.
The trailer above showcases some great game play footage from all the Mega Man X games which are a spin-off from the main series, set 100 years after the events of the original Mega Man games. Volume 1 of the Legacy Collection will contain Mega Man X, X2, X3 and X4 whilst Volume 2 will feature X5, X6, X7 and X8.
You’ll be able to purchase the games seperately through each systems store or there’ll also be a dual package available if you want to get the entire collection, seems like a no brainer to me!
