Over the weekend, Microsoft announced plans to release three new holiday themed bundles of it’s Xbox 360 gaming console in an attempt to persuade late adopters to “jump in” with Kinect or participate in all the latest multiplayer madness and fun that the beloved Call of Duty franchise has to offer..
The first of the Xbox 360 holiday bundles announced was the Xbox 360 Holiday Value Bundle. Included is a Black 500GB Xbox 360 E console, one wireless controller, one wired headset and xbox live digital download codes for full copies of both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. One month of Xbox Live “Gold” premium membership is also included, to get you started and ready to dive head first into the insane multiplayer gameplay the COD franchise has to offer.
Gamers looking to pick-up this holiday bundle at the local Wal-Mart also have an additional option in regards to the Xbox 360 Holiday Value Bundle, as the retail chain will offer an exclusive “Xbox 360 Special Edition Blue Bundle”, which offers virtually the same contents as the Holiday Value Bundle mentioned above, only instead with an arctic blue console finish and matching wireless controller. Both the Xbox 360 Holiday Value Bundle and the Xbox 360 Special Edition Blue Bundle will ship to retailers and Wal-Mart for $249.99 on September 16th.
The last holiday bundle announced, the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Value Bundle, comes packed with a black Xbox 360 E unit with 4GB of internal memory, a Xbox 360 Kinect motion sensor, one wired headset, one month of Xbox Live “Gold” premium membership and xbox live digital download codes for three, full kinect-themed games: Forza Horizon, Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports.
