On May 5th, VOID Interactive quietly released a short, INTENSE teaser for a new game called Ready Or Not. If you are an FPS fan, take a look babes.
Ready or Not is a tactical first person shooter which places you in the boots of an elite SWAT team, tasked with diffusing hostile situations in intense, claustrophobic environments. It’s set in a nondescript modern America, where an income disparity between the classes have become unsustainable and the country has been plunged into havoc.
Although the trailer gave us a gritty and frightening look into the game, no date or systems have been announced, although frequent use of the term mouse wheel indicates PC only. Sorry console users.
However, due to my superior sleuthing, aka me typing Ready Or Not into ye’ ole Google, you can find out plenty of details about what this game will feature when it does launch.
Want some quick bullet points? Of course you do! And I want to make them!
- Start your missions with a planning phase.
- Multiplayer! Including 8 player co-op and matchmaking.
- Sensitive player dynamics that allow you to move with precision.
- Player customization! Look the way you want and upload custom patches.
There are of course other features listed on Ready Or Not’s developer blog. Realistic weapons and environments, a responsive damage system, competitive servers and much more.
Ready Or Not is currently in pre-alpha, and for a game with no release date announced, I’m pretty excited by what’s been listed so far.
What about you? Will you be picking up Ready Or Not when it’s…well, ready?
