The latest issue of CoroCoro has revealed some interesting content that many believe points to the existence of a Pokemon Z! Considering Nintendo has yet to reveal any plans for a Pokemon game this year, could Pokemon Z be that game?
These leaked images from the October issue of CoroCoro feature a number of interesting teases, most importantly the several forms of Zygarde. Promoting the new Pokemon XY & Z anime, it appears Greninja will be among those getting a new variation. This new look for Greninja features a red spike across the top of his head with red and black fur on both sides of his mouth. Greninja also looks to be sporting two possible water swords on both hands. Could this be a possible Greninja Mega Evolution?
More interestingly are the new forms for the legendary Pokemon, Zygarde. The images above show off five new forms for the Pokemon Z mascot. The forms (and their names) vary from a blob (Core), to a Cell (Cell), to a Dog (10%), the original form (50%), and finally a new colossus form (Perfect Form). The first form, Zygarde Core, will be the brain for the remaining four variations. All of these forms and Greninja’s new form will be present in the upcoming Pokemon XY & Z anime airing in Japan beginning October 29th.
Remember, the idea of a Pokemon Z remains just speculation, but with all of the above images and Nintendo’s usual release schedule, Pokemon Z seems like a sure fire bet for this year’s Pokemon title. What do you think? Will we be seeing Pokemon Z sometime later this year, and what do you think of these new variations of Greninja and Zygarde?
