Shonen Jump fans….have we got an exciting announcement for you. In Microsoft’s E3 2018 conference, we received quite a surprising reveal from Bandai Namco. This game is called Jump Force.
What Is Jump Force?
Jump Force is a crossover in line with previous crossover games featuring Shonen Jump characters, like Jump Super Stars and J-Stars Victory Vs+. The gameplay is an arena fighter, similar to the latter of the aforementioned games. How many franchises will be represented, is unclear, but in the recent trailer, we see Frieza from Dragonball fighting against Goku from the same series alongside the titular protagonist of Naruto as well as Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece. In addition, gameplay on the show floor revealed the addition of Sasuke Uchiha and Roronoa Zoro from Naruto and One Piece, respectively. In addition, the end of the trailer showed Light Yagami and Ryuk from Death Note.
As far as the setting, the game seems to be an amalgamation of the worlds from their respective mangas. For fans, we see what remains of the stone heads of the Hôkage, the Thousand Sunny, and Frieza’s Spaceship.
Here is the full announcement trailer for your convenience.
