Just yesterday, Konami removed P.T. from the PSN store. P.T. was this sort of teaser demo for the new game Silent Hills. P.T. stood for playable teaser. This was a big collaboration between Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro, but since Hideo Kojima is no longer part of Konami, It seems that Silent Hills is now canned. Guillermo Del Toro announced at an event in San Francisco that his collaboration with Hideo Kojima is no longer a going concern.Norman Reedus was also going to be big part of the game by using likeness for the main character. He tweeted this yesterday expressing himself about the situation.
Super bummed about this was really looking forward to it. Hopefully it’ll come back around. Sorry everyone http://t.co/drZJ8tBsSN

This is such an unfortunate situation for fans of the Silent Hill series. Konami responded to all this by just saying “We will continue to develop the Silent Hill series”. Which just means they will eventually make another game but this specific game seems to be gone forever since their contract with Norman Reedus has expired.
The teaser for Silent Hills was well-received everywhere and was pretty much the scariest game you can play on the PlayStation store. People went crazy to find out how to actually complete it. So everyone online went and wrote walkthroughs and wikis.
And just recently the Metal Gear Solid creator, Hideo Kojima is expected to part ways with Konami once the development on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is finished. Konami is planning on pretty much rebooting the franchise once Kojima is officially gone.
How do you feel about Konami canning Silent Hills? Are you a big Silent Hills fan? If so let us know what’s your favorite one!
