After being out for PC and Mac for about 3 years, The Sims 4 is finally making its way to this generation of console. You can expect to see the title on your Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.
November 17th, 2017 is the scheduled release date to socialize or terrorize your sims on your TV screen. Console players will also receive all the updates to the base game already implemented in the PC and Mac versions.
“Since our initial launch on PC, we have made several updates to the base game, ranging from the addition of Ghosts and Pools, to New Careers, Half-Walls, and Dishwashers! Not to mention, we also added the world of Newcrest, to give your Sims space to continue to grow; overhauled the Create a Sim tool, to provide expanded gender customization options; and most recently, added Toddlers as a new playable life state! All of these great updates will be available to you at launch when you play The Sims 4 on console.”
Along with all the updates for the console version, players will receive periodic updates on a regular basis as well to mirror the PC/Mac version and keep the game up to date.
As a bonus, if you pre-order the physical or digital version of The Sims 4 for console, you’ll receive a digital download code for The Sims 4: Perfect Patio Stuff Pack, available upon launch.
There are extra goodies for pre-ordering the deluxe edition of the game as well. You can check out all the pre-order details HERE.
