Soulcalibur 6 is still a ways away, but that hasn’t stopped speculation and rumors as to whether the game will indulge in the franchise’s tradition of platform exclusive fighters appearing on the game’s roster. According to a 4Chan post, a user has leaked the game’s full roster which includes guest characters for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Took a look at the leaked image below and as always with leaks and rumors, especially for fighting games, take the info with the biggest grain of salt you can.
So according to this list, we’ll be seeing a Bloodborne Hunter for PS4, Killer Instinct’s Jago for Xbox One and PC, and curiously we see Lucina from Fire Emblem for an unannounced Nintendo Switch version of the game the post claims will be shown at E3. All of these choices seem like they could be pretty likely, but a Bloodborne Hunter seems an odd choice considering there isn’t technically a main character. Beyond that argument though, a hunter featuring a move set with various weapons from Bloodborne would be ultra badass.
Also just to give a slight amount of credibility to this post, two of the characters on this list, Ivy and Zasalamel, were confirmed by Bandai Namco to be in Soulcalibur 6. These two were confirmed after the existence of this post. That again doesn’t merit enough to convince anyone of this leaks validity, but it’s fun to dream we get insider info ahead of time as we clamor over whether it’s anywhere close to reality.
Soulcalibur 6 is supposedly set for release later this year with no exact date yet set. I expect we’ll be seeing a lot about this game at E3 2018 where hopefully we’ll get to confirm or deny some of this leak. You can see the reveal trailer for the game’s latest two characters Ivy and Zasalamel below.
