You can usually expect any successful game to have DLC these days. However, few DLC expansions have managed to keep players interested in the game the way Sony’s Spider-Man DLC has. Sony has officially released the trailer for the second expansion in it’s The City That Never Sleeps trilogy.
The trailer, released via PlayStation’s YouTube channel gives us a look into the dastardly plans of Hammer Head. With Kingpin locked away, Hammer Head plans to take over his turf and eliminate anyone who plans to stop him.
J. Jonah Jameson narrates the trailer giving us his completely ‘unbiased’ opinion of what’s happening on the streets. Much like in the game this narration takes place on his podcast titled ‘Just The Facts’. It’s a very humorous way for players to see what all is included in this new expansion.
And there is quite a bit to look forward to with the Turf Wars DLC. There will be more story content that picks up right where The Heist (the first DLC expansion) left off. With Hammer Heads reign we will see not only Spider-Man’s struggle to keep the city from falling apart, but officer Yuri will be put in the crosshairs as the city’s police force is under fire.
Players will also gain access to three new costumes for the Web-Head to wear as well as some more combat challenges to put your Spider skills to the test. The DLC is available now and can be purchased from the PlayStation store for $9.99. However, if you buy all three expansions you can save a little bit of cash for $24.99.
The next expansion comes out in December and is titled Silver Lining. Does it have anything to do with Silver Sable? Well, I guess we will have to wait and see, but until then have fun swinging around New York and keeping crime off the streets.
