In the Disney Parks panel at the D23 Expo 2017, more information about Star Wars Land was revealed. Star Wars Land will be named Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Bob Chapek, Disney Parks chairman, said that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will raise the bar even more from Pandora.
There is also a first look at the First Order and Millennium Falcon attractions. Hondo from Star Wars Rebels will be enlisting guests to ride the Falcon, and the First Order attraction will make you feel like you’re on a Star Destroyer inside a hangar bay.
Also, there will be bounty hunters that might try to track you if you get on someone’s bad list as previously revealed by Imagineer Trowbridge yesterday. At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, guest can meet with BB-8, Chewbacca, and Kylo Ren. Also, Rex from Star Wars Rebels will be a DJ at a cantina in Galaxy’s Edge where guests can taste unique foods and drinks such as blue milk.
Lastly, even though Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edgewill be opened in 2019 at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, guests will be able to experience Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland first and then later in the year at Walt Disney World.
