Star Was: Jedi Fallen Order – Official Trailer
At Star Wars Celebration Respawn and EA announced that they are set to release the game on November 15th 2019.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is EA’s next shot at a Star Wars game since Star Wars Battlefront II which received enormous amounts of criticism from fans. Microtransactions plagued the game from the start. Overall the game left a bad feeling about any future Star Wars games potentially being released by EA. EA and Bioware’s recent game Anthem did not help with EA’s image. Many felt it was released prematurely and felt like a Beta.
Single Player RPG With No Microtransactions
Microtransactions are not going to be in the game. There is also currently no plans for a DLC. Once you buy the game you shouldn’t have to spend any more money. This return to a single player game will most likely be a nice change of pace for most gamers.
This game is a story driven, single player game with RPG elements. The game is not open world but will have many exploring opportunities and puzzles to conquer. In a post “Order 66” world you struggle as one of the last remaining Jedi to survive. You have to master lightsaber combat forms and potentially take on an Inquisitor in your journey to rebuild the Jedi Order.
As you lvl up your lightsaber will also be leveling with you. It will also have a slew of customization options. They want the lightsaber duels to feel very natural and hope to give fans movie style lightsaber battles in game.
Optimism Going Into This Game?
Many fans are now cautiously optimistic going into this game due to the aforementioned disappointment.
What do you think about Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order? Are you “cautiously optimistic” like me?
