The wait is finally over, Dragonball dub fans. The long-awaited dub of Dragonball Super has finally premiered on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block. This, of course, carries significance. After all, most fans first viewed Dragonball Z on the original Toonami block back in the 90s. Many fans have most likely already viewed Super when the show came out in its original Japanese. I for one, constantly find myself watching many anime subbed. But for Dragonball, it is a different matter entirely.
So this week we want to check out what anime shows we think deserve merchandise, or at least need more than what’s been released. Recently Toonami began their airing of the dubbed version of Michiko & Hatchin, and I thought to myself, why is it that I don’t have any type of merchandise to express my love for the series. I can’t find a single set of merchandise, aside from DVD collections, which is such a shame, considering the awesome things that can come from the unique art style and character design from the two titular characters.
While writing my weekly anime installment I found myself trying to suggest a massive list of anime shows that even an unemployed insomniac likely couldn’t finish within a reasonable amount of time.
My remedy for this is to break the lists up in a a few parts so that you all can take your time and sift through to find your favorites. I’ll try to keep these coming on a weekly bases but for now, there will be three installments.
