The Nintendo Switch has become a haven for Indie titles. So far we’ve seen some interesting and unique ports and new releases that many fans of the system seem to love. This week indie game publisher and developer Team17 are serving up their first hearty port with Overcooked: Special Edition for the Switch.
The critically acclaimed party game, Overcooked: Special Edition for the Switch will come complete with all the available DLC and the added feature of HD Rumble support. Players can try their hand at taming these unruly kitchens with up to 4 players at a time via local multiplayer or step up as the head chef in single player modes. Fans of this chaotic kitchen game will finally be able to curb their cravings with the ability to play on the go.
Overcooked: Special Edition is expected to retail at $20 and will be available for purchase on the eShop on Thursday, July 27th.
Other Team17 indie titles expected to hit the eShop later this year include the Banjo and Kazooie spiritual successor Yooka-Layee and a sequel to the 2D puzzle role playing game, The Escapists 2.
So are you as excited as we are to play Overcooked: Special Edition on the go? What indie titles (if any) are you hoping to play on the Switch? Join the conversation in the comment section below.
