The nominees for the game awards have arrived, and this year the battle will be intense. With so many great games releasing this year, it’ll be tough competition for each contender. Those are just some of the more popular brackets, and it’s easy to see that quite a few games have multiple nominations in different categories. It’ll be wonderful to see titles from Nintendo take home big wins, and other titles such as Persona 5 be awarded for the amazing art, music, and preservation of the turn-based yet evolved RPG. That’s not to mention titles like NieR: Automata and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and the incomparable Horizon Zero Dawn, which made this year one of the best in gaming history. Even Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Final Fantasy XV, and Assassin’s Creed: Origins made their way on the list. What’s your game of the year?
