Everyone was wondering if we would get any free games from Twitch Prime this month but now not only are we receiving the customary five games but we’re getting 20!! Here are all the Twitch Prime free games for July.
Unlike other services, once you claim these games they’re yours forever (*cough* you can get a free month of Amazon Prime when you first sign up that you can then link to your Twitch account and then claim the games and then cancel amazon prime before you get billed *cough*), but they are only available for a limited time so be sure to claim them if you want them.
Metal Slug 3 (7/3 -8/2)
An old school arcade run and gun game, it’s short but very fun and can be challenging at times, plus you only have a limited amount of lives. Best enjoyed with a friend.
The Last Blade (7/3 -8/2)
Another old school arcade game, but this time it’s a fighting game. This one takes you back to when you lost all those quarters and didn’t beat the game anyway and your mom got mad at you ‘cus that money was for something else.
Twinkle Star Stripes (7/3 -8/2)
A competitive vertical arcade shooter, hope you have friends with all these co-op games.
Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition (7/2 -7/4)
On this tactical isometric RPG you gain points by completing quests not killing enemies which is different, and you can pause anytime.
Qube 2 (7/3 – 7/9)
First person puzzle adventure game with more psychic powers and less portals. A sequel to Qube (lol).
Battle Chef Brigade (7/4 -7/10)
Another puzzle game where the cooking is matching colored balls but the twist is you have to hunt for your ingredients; it also has an immersive world and story. I’ve heard it gets pretty hard later on but that shouldn’t be a problem for you puzzle heads.
Manual Samuel (7/5 – 7/11)
On this 2D sidescroller you’ve gotta help Samuel get through the day. Don’t forget to breathe! (Both gameplay advice and irl advice)
GoNNER (7/6 -7/12)
Rogue-like 2D platformer shooter with an awesome art style. Rogue-like means you’ll die a lot.
Next up Hero (7/7 – 7/13)
Another rogue-like dungeon crawler where you will die a lot, the twist is that you will be able to wake up the fallen hero as an AI bot that will help you beat the game.
UURNOG UURNLIMITED (7/8 – 7/14)
2D puzzle-platformer where you kidnap animals and bring them to your room.
Hue (7/9 – 7/15)
Another 2D puzzler platformer but this time you use colors to get around this normally black and white world. Pretty fun, easy on the eyes, not too long, and not too hard (aww that’s what she said).
Deponia Doomsday (7/10 – 7/16)
One of those point-and-click adventure games you’ve heard so much about; solve small puzzles and advance the story.
>Observer (7/11 – 7/17)
A psychological horror cyberpunk first person game. I heard some good things about this one and I don’t want it spoiled sooooo…
Tacoma (7/12 – 7/18)
First person exploration game where you are on a space station and must figure out what happened to the crew.
The Bridge (7/13 – 7/26)
Play through M. C. Escher-esque levels in this 2D game. To get to the other side is the answer.
Brutal Legend (7/14 – 7/27)
This game is surprisingly an RTS (well, it’s old so not really). If you love Jack Black and classic rock music this game is for you. Metal.
The Red Strings Club (7/15 – 7/21)
A cyberpunk 2D pixelated adventure. Expect to see a pixel penis or two (that’s not what the game is about but I just watched that other trailer and I had to tell somebody about this pixel penis). Bring down a corporation that wants to mind control people.
Tyranny (7/16 – 7/17)
Another isometric RPG, liberate the world from an evil overlord. This game is not for the indecisive as the decisions you make play a big part in the story.
Broken Age (7/17 -7/31)
Another point-and-click adventure game where you play as two teens trying to be free or whatever, a very heart warming coming of age story. Switch between the two protagonists whenever you want.
Holy crap that’s a lot of free games! Looks like you’re going to be busy for a while, but if you want catch up on anything video game related and/or nerdy keep visiting our website wtfgamersonly.com for more.
