This week we watched an awesome show that’s been a long time coming, played the best of the blue blur’s games, and watched some new trailers. Enjoy your weekly round-up.
The Defenders came out on Friday and it’s pretty frickin’ good. It takes a couple of episodes to get good, but all that build up by episode three, I was actually paying attention to the show, and all that build up from the previous series finally starts to pay off.
It’s the show to watch right now, specially if you have watched any of the other Netflix’s Marvel series. I’m not entirely sure how this would look to someone who hasn’t seen any of the other shows, but I’m pretty sure it would be about the same of how Luke Cage and Jessica Jones look at this whole “The Hand” business.
Look forward to a review of the show on our website, but it is an awesome show that should not be missed.
Netflix + Marvel = best hallway fighting scenes
- Sonic Mania is the best Sonic game of all time.
- Blizzard keeping Battle.net name but adding Blizzard in front of it.
- Gamer won 10 thousand dollars in For Honor tournament by cheesing.
- Troll and I worst game on Nintendo Switch warn unlucky owners.
- Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite story trailer 3, I guess Chun-Li does look better, story and character roster still crap
- Battlefront 2 leaked trailer looks awesome.
Holy shit! If you thought the art of fishing simulation could not get any better, then think again. This trailer has shown us that fishing simulation is alive and kicking other genres asses. Did you see those water physics? Delish! If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought that was a real fish; it must be that complex fish AI system at work.
70 plus species you say? I didn’t even know there were 70 fish in the wold total, let alone 70 different kinds of species. Did anyone else jump out of their seat and cheer at the top of their lungs when the fish was pulled out of the water? Fishing Planet is coming soon for the PS4 (not soon enough I say!!), and it is now available on Steam as a free to play game.
Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier Gameplay
The tension between the apes and the humans is very palpable here and it is intensified by how the apes are not actually talking but using their sign language and you only hear grunts and the sounds of the night. This being a gameplay video I expected some actual gameplay other than just choosing dialogue that may or may not lead to anything, though it looked like it did to be fair. But, if this is all the game is, I rather just watch the old crappy looking movies.
I hope we get to see more gameplay at Gamescom.
Your Weekly Round-Up
If you couldn’t tell, I was using some sarcasm and other forms humor in that Fishing Planet part, I honestly don’t even care for fishing in general.
My dad once fished a fish (yes, a fish!!), he left it on the kitchen sink, and then went back to fishing with is buddy. I was playing Resident Evil 4 in the living room, and I just heard that big mofo move and flop for like two hours. Two hours! If you took air away from me, I would pass out in like a minute and a half. Respect.
Digressions aside, what did you most like this week? Did I miss anything of note? Are you excited for Gamescom (August 22 – August 26)? Do let us know your thoughts, don’t forget to share, and stay awesome 🙂
